Top Nugget of the Week, hands down, is this post by Jeremy Hill of Acadia Realty Trust.
We signed their first mall up for a pilot just before COVID and that put a stop to anything forward-thinking. Every now and then you get an opportunity to latch onto a client that makes you better and wants to see you succeed. Glad to say we have several and the list keeps growing.
Jeremy called us several weeks into the pandemic and said “can’t we run CDC health checks and role it out to 200 employees instead of dropping $10K on another application?” We said sure and <1 week later he was live nationwide.
As the pandemic was beginning to stabilize and become more predictable, we got back to the original vision and he added several additional sites.
Six months after that we were in 30+ assets.
Jeremy called us and said “can StringBean Technologies help us get a better handle on our vendors and contractors, and ensure they get the jobs done right.” This dove-tailed nicely with what we had on a drawing board and some flip-charts. We knew our application already had 80% of what was necessary but we needed a Beta partner that would really battle test it.
Two months later we went live. We now have a great handle on what V2.0+ is going to look like and we are having our priorities aligned. We don’t just create a custom add-on at a drop of a hat. We do our due diligence. We realized if we nailed this, we can have a premium offering that is centered on Product Led Growth. Many prospects are leaning forward… Wait until you see what’s next… (AI + more). Our TAM 2x’d as well.
The UI is so simple and engaging. Five interns onboarded 20 sites in a week two Summers ago.
Most importantly the product, out-of-the-box, delivers efficiency, knowledge and standardization.
